COMMITTEE ROLE & RELATIONSHIPS
The Journey to 2040 Plan is led by City staff, with input and direction from several coordinated committees:
- Project Oversight Committee
- Technical Advisory Committee
- Steering Committees for each planning effort:
- Downtown Master Plan Steering Committee
- Parks, Trails, and Open Space Plan Steering Committee
- Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee
The Project Oversight Committee will provide "critical review" of the three planning projects to help ensure coordination and consistency between the efforts. Composed of City Councillors, City leaders, and Planning Commission representatives, the Project Oversight Committee will also guide the communication of the "big picture" of the three planning projects to the community and the constituents of the committee members. The meetings will be held monthly and/or as needed to discuss and review issues as they arise.
